Carnival of Investing Stories

.!.

I was looking for a carnival this weekend so I could promote my Frontline post to get a little extra traffic. Come to find out, the Carnival of Investing is closed down. I looked around for other Investing carnivals, but could not find any. I wanted to find a carnival where people talked about their investing experiences. I wanted to find a place where people talked about the investments they were making and how they turned out. I wanted to see what stocks, bonds, mutual funds, etc. people were buying.

Carnival Of Investing Stories download another gay sequel gays gone wild online

I created a new carnival so that everyone could go to place like I described. The Carnival of Investing Stories is a weekly to bi-weekly carnival containing posts about real investing stories. These stories will include buying and selling stocks, bonds, mutual funds, etc. to research and questions about investing. The link is to the Submit Page

2000 missing you mp3

because I do not have a website up for it yet.

The first scheduled carnival will be in two weeks on April 23, 2007. I waited a while to get the word out and to make sure there are enough submissions for a good carnival.

If you have a good investing story or some good investing research to share, head to the Submit Page and submit a post to the carnival. It is a good way to get links and traffic for your blog as I described in Carnival post under Improve Your Blog.

Carnival of Credit Report Stories #2 - Nascar Edition

images6.jpg

Since I watched the Nascar race this weekend, I figured I would have a race theme for the 2nd edition of the Carnival of Credit Report Stories. Congratulations to Matt Kenseth for winning the Auto Club 500.

Racers

Here are the articles for this week’s Carnival:

Black-Flagged

Since I am hosting the Carnival, I figured I should not have any entries. But since there weren’t that many, I added a shameless plug. I wrote a post called Beware: 0% APR Game about watching your credit score when you apply for a bunch of credit cards.

Did Not Qualify

Here are submissions that were not on topic with the Carnival, but since there were not that many submissions, I added them in.

That is the Carnival for this week. Next week will be hosted at Millionster. Submit your blog article to the next edition of The Carnival of Credit Report Stories using the carnival submission form.

This Week’s Carnivals

I submitted posts to five different carnivals this week. Here are the host’s for this week:

These three are currently up while the other two will be later this week. Check out the carnivals as they all have a great deal of good information in each of them. As I stated in a previous post, carnivals are a great way to improve your traffic. They give you links to your site, and they get your site exposed to readers who would not normally visit your site.

Carnival of Investing #57

The Carnival of Investing #57 is finally up and running. My post on 529 Savings Plans is featured. The Carnival was only posted 2 days late, and the organization is horrible, which makes it hard to find posts. The posts are all just listed in some random order. I will try to weed my way through and come up with some top picks later tonight.

Sorry, I did not find any new good posts. The good ones were posts that were also in the Carnival of Personal Finance. All of the other posts really either uninteresting or things that I already knew about. Hopefully the next Carnival will be a little better.

84th Carnival of Personal Finance

.!.

The 84th Carnival of Personal Finance is up on Blueprint for Financial Prosperity. My post on 529 Savings Plans is listed (number 39 way at the bottom). There are some very good posts on this list, and I will list my favorites sometime after lunch.

Here is some of the better articles (in my opinion):

Some the articles are absolutely horrible. One was about how much money you would have in 10 years if you put away $10,000. Ok, it’s called a calculator. Another post was one paragraph and had a link to a graph from a magazine. I put a lot of time and effort into my post for the carnival. I guess I should not worry about it. Hopefully the quality of my post will bring me more readers, and they will appreciate the time I spend putting these posts together.

Carnival of Credit Report Stories

I will be hosting the Carnival of Credit Report Stories on February 26th. The Carnival of Credit Report Stories is described as:

Things you did not know until you checked your credit report and what action you took afterwards.

If you have a good story, submit it by February 25 at 6:00 PM, and I will be glad to include it in the next Carnival.
