As you can see, I had a little set back in my push to get out of the negative.  This was mostly due to Easter, traveling, and building a swingset for my daughter.  But thankfully, my wife and I have turned our spending ways around and are back on he right track.  I am planning on one more big ticket item, the server and operating system I mentioned earlier, and than I am done spending until the baby comes in June.  That sure isn’t going to help the networth.

Do kids count for the net worth?  I am sure if they do, they would be a liability.

Since this is the first Net Worth I have done, there is no previous month. These numbers aren’t good, but they are not as bad as I thought. These numbers should really jump up next month with all the money I have coming in. This is also just the first month after Christmas, and the wife and I are still feeling th after effects. I think things will start getting balanced out, and the Net Worth going toward the positive. The wife and I just need hash out a budget that works and stick to it.

Here are a few notes:

When I bought my house, it was appraised for $122,000, so I am using that as the value.
I have no credit card debt. I pay the balance off every month.
