Just a quick note. I finally got my $50 promo bonus from my first ShareBuilder account. I will probably move this into my Savings account for a bit, then buy some stock for my wife.
I also checked online and I see that I have been approved for my first refund from Wirefly.com. I bought 2 cell phones December 2005, and they both came with a $150 mail-in-rebate. I sent the rebate in in June 2006, and I finally have been approved to be paid. The $150 check will hopefully come soon as I have been waiting for the money a long time. The other rebate says the check is processing, so hopefully in a few weeks they will mail that one.
I also got my W-2 today from work. I just need to wait on the wife’s, and then I can start filing. We should be looking at over $2000 return (maybe even upwards of $5000) as most of our money was spent on Daycare and interest payments.
