Since this is the first Net Worth I have done, there is no previous month. These numbers aren’t good, but they are not as bad as I thought. These numbers should really jump up next month with all the money I have coming in. This is also just the first month after Christmas, and the wife and I are still feeling th after effects. I think things will start getting balanced out, and the Net Worth going toward the positive. The wife and I just need hash out a budget that works and stick to it.

When I bought my house, it was appraised for $122,000, so I am using that as the value.
I have no credit card debt. I pay the balance off every month.
Congratulations on putting together a Networth! It may be a bitter pill to swallow, but knowing your Networth is actually pretty empowering. Now you can do something about it and watch as it changes.
The best part is that I have a lot of money coming in this month like my bonus and tax returns. I also get about 1 1/2 extra paychecks, so hopefully I will get a lot closer to the positive.
